Gandhi Youth Organisation (GYO) secured first innings points over Ace Warriors yesterday in the weekend’s lone fixture of the Georgetown Cricket Association (GCA), Noble House Seafoods, second-division, two-day competition at GYO.
\GYO, batting first, piled on 272 for seven declared with the elegant left-hander Darshan Persaud stroking an unbeaten 61 to guide his side to a competitive first-innings score.
