Sheria Khalil, the bank teller who was attacked and stabbed by her reputed husband more than a week ago at Timehri, East Bank Demerara remains hospitalised.
This was confirmed by Commander of Region 4 (B) Kurleigh Simon, who when contacted for an update told Stabroek News that Khalil’s condition is “gradually improving”.
Following the incident, Khalil’s reputed husband Clifton Richmond called “Steve” had attempted to end his own life by ingesting a poison and jumping into the Demerara River.
