As Guyanese look forward to the nation’s Golden Jubilee celebrations, Olympia Small-Sonaram has designs that she believes reflect the country’s film industry throughout its ‘Republic’ journey.
The local designer, well known for her costume designs which won her the title of best costume designer in previous years, did not come out to ‘play’ with her designs this year.
Small-Sonaram is once again collaborating with the Digicel Mash Band and is very confident that her designs reflect the country’s progression. Under the theme “Lights, Camera, Action,” Small-Sonaram has created two individual pieces, one for men and the other for women.
