Jaguars still second at half way stage

Guyana Jaguars maintained their second spot on the West Indies Championship table but slipped further behind on points after round five of the 10-round tournament.

The five-time defending champions, Guyana drew their match in Grenada against Windward Islands Volcanoes to end on 60.8 points. Volcanoes slipped to fourth with 50.7 points. Barbados Pride on the other hand extended their lead on the table after closing the round on 84.2 points following their victory over Trinidad and Tobago Red Force, who hold the penultimate spot with 46.6 points.

Jamaica Scorpions’ win over Leeward Islands Hurricanes saw them moving into third with 57.4 points and condemning Hurricanes to the bottom of the table with 32.6 points.
