The police officer who was involved in an accident while on his way to investigate a shooting in Region Seven is currently recovering after undergoing surgery to reduce the swelling in his brain.
Constable 23688 Harris, who was stationed at the Bartica Police Station in Region Seven, underwent emergency surgery on Monday morning.
He had been flung off an ATV while on his way to investigate a shooting, which occurred on Saturday afternoon.
