Igloo Golf Classic tees off today

The Inaugural Sterling Products-sponsored Igloo golf classic will tee off today at 12.30 hours at the Lusignan Golf Course.

The tournament was launched yesterday at the company’s Providence location where Chief Executive Officer of the company, Ramsay Ali, expressed his excitement to introduce a premium brand to a premium sport.   “We have just launched a line of premium Ice Cream and hopefully, we will have it up there and we want to associate ourselves with a premium sport and golf is a premium sport in Guyana so that’s the idea behind it,” Ali stated.

Sterling’s head added, “We were bold enough to sponsor a series of tournaments throughout the year and we are looking at a couple more during the year but this is our first and we are very happy to be associated with Lusignan Golf Course.
