A thirteen-year-old female of West Demerara, who had filed a sexual assault complaint against a pandit with the police on Monday last has committed suicide.
The teen took her own life on Saturday morning.
Police Commander of Region Three, Simon Mc Bean said yesterday that the teenager visited the police last week accompanied by her father and made the report.
