Bent Street routs Rio All Stars 5-1

Saturday evening witnessed the coronation of a new champion in the Magnum Mash Cup Futsal Championship as traditional giant Bent Street brushed aside emerging force Rio All-Stars 5-1 at the National Gymnasium, Mandela Avenue.

The clash, which was witnessed by a large crowd, can be described as an exhibition in offensive efficiency, as Bent Street converted 50% of their total attempts on target on their way to clinching their second title in three years.

The rout commenced after Bent Street had fallen behind to a Kelsey Benjamin goal in the seventh minute.
