Guyana’s female national table tennis team has served its way into the history books after they were selected by the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) to participate in the 2020 World Teams Table Tennis Championships scheduled for March 22-29 2020 in Buscan, South Korea.
The announcement was made by the Guyana Table Tennis Association (GTTA) which hailed the women’s selection as significant for the sport here.
“This is significant for Guyana’s table tennis brand since male and female players have represented Guyana at the singles edition of the world table tennis championships in 2003, 2005, and 2013,” a GTTA press release noted.
