Marcus Keiler took his talents to Berbice yesterday and rode off with the spoils of the Courts Mashramani 50-mile road race.
The Team Coco’s standout stopped the clock in two hours, nine minutes and 45 seconds for the event which pedaled off in front of Courts in New Amsterdam, proceeded to Nand Persaud at Number 36 Village and returned to the point of origin for the finish.
Besides the winner’s trophy, Keiler bagged five of the eight sprint prizes, testament to his dominance on the saddle yesterday. He led Andre ‘Padlock’ Green, Romello Crawford, Paul DeNobrega and Balram Narine and Marlon ‘Fishy’ Williams into the top six.
