Cricketers from the West Berbice based Cricket Club Achievers will now benefit from a donation of cricket gear from Guyana’s most recent First Class player, Kevin Sinclair.
It was a simple but significant occasion for the 20-year-old yesterday at the Georgetown Cricket Club where the Inter-County Under-15 final was played between Berbice, a team he turned out for almost seven years ago and Demerara.
Sinclair, who plays for West Berbice in the Cricket Guy Inc Franchise League, decided to give back to the Bush Lot based unit after noticing that they were short on gear but overloaded with talent.
