Team Evolution defied the odds to finish first and second in yesterday’s Linden Forbes Burnham Memorial Two-Stage road race.
The club’s most senior wheelsman, Marlon ‘Fishy’ Williams placed first in the annual Forbes Burnham Foundation sponsored event while new recruit, Curtis Dey placed second overall. Marcus Keiler completed the podium in the race which started in Linden and ended on CARIFESTA Avenue.
Williams won the first leg from Linden to Georgetown in 2:59:41 and placed fifth in the second leg from CARIFESTA Avenue to Belfield and back. That leg was won by his club mate, Christopher Griffith in 1:14:30.
