The Guyana Elections Commission (GECOM) yesterday confirmed that a number of disciplined services officers at Eteringbang were unable to vote last Friday as a plane was unable to land.
Some 43 officers – 35 police officers and eight Guyana Defence Force (GDF) ranks – based in Eteringbang, Region Seven, were unable to cast their votes on Friday as other members of the disciplined services voted at some 62 polling stations across the country.
