Canal Number Two Sports Club, McGill Super Stars, Dynasty, Belle Vue, Independence A and B all secured victories in the latest round of matches in the West Demerara Cricket Association President’s T20 tournament.
On Monday at the Canal Number Two ground, a last-ball thriller saw the hosts reaching 159 for seven, in reply to Windsor Forest A’s 155 for seven.
The visitors won the toss and opted to bat under overcast conditions and Deoram Chanderbir piloted the innings with an impressive 87, which featured eight sixes and four fours. He was supported by Avinash Ganesh, who made 27, highlighted by five boundaries.
