Corentyne woman arrested after partner succumbs to chop injury

A Corentyne woman was yesterday arrested after her partner succumbed to a chop injury at the New Amsterdam Public Hospital on Wednesday after-noon. 

Dead is Anthony Permaul, also known as ‘Banks’, 41, labourer of Clifton Settlement, Corentyne.

According to information gathered, on Monday, Permaul and his common-law wife were imbibing together when an argument ensued.
