Man on armed robbery charge after Blue Martini shooting

Nicholas Chow

One of the men who allegedly shot and robbed a North Road resident at the Blue Martini bar last month was charged yesterday with armed robbery and remanded to prison.

Nicholas Chow, 31, of 254 East La Penitence, was brought to the George-town Magistrates’ Courts where he stood before Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan, who read the charge to him.

It is alleged that on February 28, at Lamaha Street, Georgetown, while in the company of another and armed with a gun, Chow robbed Neil Dutchin of $500,000 cash, a cellphone, valued $20,000, and a knife, valued $500.
