Homeless man’s godmother allowed to compensate for wounding charge

The godmother of a homeless man was granted permission to compensate a man who was wounded by her godson.

Joel Stanford who told a court that he is homeless, was arraigned before Principal Magistrate Faith McGusty on Wednesday when his godmother asked the court allow her to compensate the man he wounded.

It is alleged that on November 6th, 2019, at Kitty, Georgetown, with intent to maim, disable, disfigure or to cause grievous bodily harm, he unlawfully and maliciously wounded Kareem Lovell.
