An unbeaten century from Ramesh Narine as well as a seven-wicket haul from Punraj Singh were the stand out performances as the Essequibo Coast T20 bash continued on Sunday at several venues.
At the Reliance Ground, hosts Reliance Hustlers defeated Crown XI by 89 runs. Hustlers won the toss and reached 262 for 3 from their allotted overs with Narine scoring 107. Abdool Nadir supported with 80 while Mark Austin made 36. S. Rajbanie (1-17) and R. Taijballi (1-33) were the sole wicket takers.
In reply, Crown XI managed 173 for seven when their overs ended. B. Dasrat and A. Persaud made 26 each while S. Fraser picked up three for 24 and M. Pearson returned 2-33.
