The second annual Tyrone Alphonso Johnson Memorial T10 competition scheduled for Saturday at the Parika-Salem ground has been postponed owing to the Coronavirus (Covid-19) Pandemic.
This is according to one of the organisors, Tamika Johnson who stated, “Due to the Covid-19 pandemic an important part of the sponsorship team, Telston Johnson, his mother and siblings, who are living in New York are unable to come to Guyana for the Easter holidays and that is the time the tournament was scheduled to be played.”
The organiser also posited that the curfew and barring of social events have made it impractical to have the tournament bowl off.
