`CrossFit here I come’

Despite the coronavirus pandemic Dillon Mahadeo is keeping up his training for the CrossFit Games later this year whilst observing all the health guidelines pertaining to the virus.

Guyana’s fittest man, Dillon Mahadeo, still has his hard hat on in preparation for the Reebok CrossFit Games even as there is some speculation that the event may not take place because of the coronavirus pandemic. Always an optimist, Mahadeo, however, is going forward and functioning with the mentality that the prestigious event, which attracts the world’s fittest athletes, will go ahead as planned in August in Madison, Wisconsin, USA.

Said Mahadeo during an telephone interview, “To date, there hasn’t been any word from CrossFit regarding the postponing or cancelling of the 2020 Reebok CrossFit Games.”

Unlike most sportsmen and women who do not have access to gyms across the 592, Mahadeo has been blessed to have the uses of a private training facility, out of harm’s way.
