COVID-cases remain at 63 after latest round of testing

Stats from Guyana’s latest COVID-19 surveillance report

Following the testing of 22 more persons suspected of having the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19), Guyana has recorded no new positive cases.

According to Guyana’s latest surveillance report, released last evening, the number of confirmed cases remain at 63, following the testing of a total of 305 persons.

The report said 48 persons remained in institutional isolation, 14 in institutional quarantine, 5 in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit and nine have recovered. So far, six deaths have been recorded.
