Caribbean Airlines (CAL) yesterday announced that it was introducing cargo charter services to support supply chains within the Caribbean which have been stressed by the COVID-19 lockdowns.
In a statement, CAL said that the airline launched the new option to meet the growing demand for cargo uplift to a number of Caribbean islands which are now experiencing significantly reduced cargo capacity with the closure of borders to passenger aircraft because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
