Veteran West Indies batsman Chris Gayle has escaped sanction from the Caribbean Premier League after tendering an apology yesterday.
According to a release from the organisers of the tournament, the matter has been declared closed.
Gayle found himself in hot water after posting a series of YouTube vides which criticised the management of the Jamaica Tallawahs after they let him go despite him being contracted to the franchise.
