MYO extends benevolence during COVID19 crisis 

The Muslim Youth Organization (MYO) is giving back to the needy.

The Muslim Youth Organization (MYO) which participates in Georgetown Cricket Association (GCA) organized cricket competitions is the latest entity to extend acts of kindness during the current COVID – 19 pandemic.

MYO, which is located in Woolford Avenue, Thomas Lands, Georgetown, has embarked on the distribution of 500 food hampers to the poor, needy and vulnerable in Guyana.

“This initiative was as a result of bringing much-needed aid to help ease the economic hardships faced by the Coronavirus Pandemic that has plagued the world. The Muslim Youth Organization of Guyana understands the great and enormous pressure and economic and financial stress that the Coronavirus Pandemic has placed on individuals and families throughout Guyana,” the organization stated via a press release.
