A Berbice doctor involved in an accident which resulted in the death of teenager Alyia Mohabir was yesterday placed on $400,000 bail after he was finally charged.
Dr Giresh Sadeo, 31, of Lot 196 Section B Number 78 Village, Corentyne, was charged with causing death by dangerous driving when he appeared before Magistrate Renita Singh at the Whim Magistrate’s Court.
Sadeo, who pleaded not guilty to the charge, was placed on $400,000 bail and ordered to lodge his passport.
