As part of what it sees as its corporate responsibility, BOSAI has made a number of contributions to Region Ten to help offset the hardships faced by the community as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to a Region Ten Regional Democratic Council (RDC) press release, 100 seniors across Linden received hampers, worth a total of $800,000, and these were delivered directly to their homes. In addition, the RDC and the Mayor and Town Council also received $700,000 in food related items to assist families. This would assist those families who were experiencing “grave” financial difficulties and would benefit from hampers distributed directly from the Mayor and Town Council. A donation of $200,000 was also made to the hot meals feeding programme, which an initiative of the Linden Business Network. This programme is geared towards ensuring that persons are offered a hot meal each day, thus further reducing the pandemic-related challenges.
