Police are investigating the death of an Essequibo man who was found dead in a Pomeroon trench.
Rajanauth Daljit, 48, called ‘Rohit,’ a labourer of Lot 32 New Road, Essequibo Coast, is believed to have died sometime between 9am and 5pm on Friday.
According to Region Two Commander Crystal Robinson, Daljit was last seen alive on Friday morning by a neighbour, who found his body floating in the trench in the afternoon.
