Injured demolition worker critical after fatal Banks DIH building collapse

Anthony Lowe, the demolition worker who was pinned on Wednesday after a Banks DIH building that was being demolished collapsed, remained in “critical” condition up to last evening.

Lowe, 27, of Lot 23 Second Street, Mocha Arcadia, East Bank Demerara, is a patient in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at the Georgetown Public Hospital (GPH).

Ketitia Waithe, the wife of the patient, told Stabroek News that Lowe suffered received injuries to his head, face, hands and lungs and was in a critical state as a result.
