Lusignan man hospitalised after chopping

A Lusignan resident was on Sunday last chopped in front his home by a number of Spanish-speaking men.

The severely injured man’s name was given as Safraz Khan of Grass Field, Lusignan, by neighbours in the area. According to those who live nearby, Khan and a few other friends were in front of his house imbibing and making jokes with people who passed by. “They had a get together and when people pass them mek trouble with and they laugh and suh and me ain’t know like them trouble the wrong person,” the neighbour who did not want to be identified, said.

“Sometime in the afternoon bout 5:30 time, two cars pull up and them man jump out and start chase them man with [cutlass]… and the next morning we wake up we hear he get chop up,” he recounted.
