Armed bandits on Friday evening robbed the Long Sheng Supermarket, Grocery and Hardware Store, at Port Mourant, Corentyne, of over $1.4 million in cash and other valuables.
Bao Sheng Zou, 22, operates the business with an older relative, Qiu Jing Zou, 48, at Lot 9 ‘A’ Ankerville, Port Mourant.
The three bandits who carried out the attack reportedly robbed Bao Sheng of $1.4 million in cash, $50,000 in GTT and Digicel phone cards, and a cellphone, valued $144,000.
