One new death and 23 new COVID-19 cases were reported yesterday by the Ministry of Public Health.
Guyana has now recorded a total of 497 COVID-19 positive cases along with 21 deaths as a result of the virus. This was revealed by Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Shamdeo Persaud during the Ministry of Public Health’s COVID-19 update.
Giving a breakdown of the regional distribution of the 23 new cases that were recorded, he said eight were from Region Seven, four from Kanapang in Region Eight, with the remaining cases were distributed in Aranaputa and Annai, in Region Nine.
