The new Government is aiming to establish a Youth Advisory Committee in the coming weeks with the focus being placed on creating job opportunities.
This disclosure was made on Saturday by President Irfaan Ali, who said that the committee will reflect the country’s “rich, religious and ethnic diversity”.
“I am conscious that while we are building our nation to give a better life to our current generation, we are also laying foundations for future generations. The future is theirs; it is right that, even now, they should help to shape it,” Ali said.
