The Guyana Bank for Trade and Industry (GBTI) has announced the introduction of its digital internal customer funds transfer as well as the expansion of its online bill payment platform.
In a release, the bank said it has upgraded its system to facilitate the direct transfer of funds from one GBTI customer’s account to another GBTI customer’s account, while also noting an increase in that amount from $100,000 to $500,000.
It said that customers may also make utility payments directly from the platform or request transfers by scheduling fixed payments.
