The COVID – 19 pandemic has been a thorn in the aspirations of many pro and aspiring pro athletes.
It forced the cancellation of a number of international sports events, some of which have since resumed under stringent safety guidelines such as bio secure venues.
However, disappointment must be brewing for those on Guyana’s female national table tennis team who were anticipating displaying their craft at the 2020 World Teams Table Tennis Championships in Busan, South Korea.
