Guyana on Friday recorded its 31st COVID-19 fatality and confirmed 35 more infections from recent testing.
On Friday evening, the Ministry of Health announced the latest death, who was identified as a 47-year-old woman who died at the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC).
No other information surrounding the patient was announced, except that the ministry was in contact with the patient’s family to facilitate contact tracing and assistance to everyone who may have been exposed.
