A late morning accident yesterday at Kuru Kuru Public Road, Soesdyke-Linden Highway has left one person dead and another hospitalised after the car they were travelling in collided with a truck.
Dead is Kevon Hilton Newland, also known as ‘John,’ of Lot 338 Wisroc Housing Scheme, Linden.
Newland, who was a father of three children, was a passenger in the hire car, HC 6304, which was driven by Orin Rose, 30, of Yuriballi Street, Retrieve, Linden, who is currently hospitalised at the Georgetown Public Hospital (GPH) after receiving multiple lacerations about his head and body as a result of the accident.
