A businessman who had been previously jailed for shooting at Guyana Revenue Authority (GRA) officers was on Wednesday brought before a court on a charge of shooting at another person.
Harrylall Motilall, also known as Jinga Harry, 60, of Lot 11-12 Helena #1, Mahaica, East Coast Demerara, made his appearance before Magistrate Fabayo Azore, at a Vigilance Magistrate’s Court to answer to a charge of discharging a loaded firearm as well as the possession of components of a firearm without a licence.
Motilall pleaded not guilty to the charge, which stated that on November 18th, 2019, at Unity Foreshore, Mahaica, he discharged a loaded firearm with intent at Kim Calistro. He was granted his release on $300,000 bail.
