Months after he escaped from custody, a juvenile attempted murder accused was yesterday recaptured by the police at Ogle, East Coast Demerara.
Guyana Police Force spokesman Assistant Commissioner Royston-Andries Junor yesterday confirmed that the youth, who is 17, was apprehended by the police at Ogle Old Road.
The teen had escaped from the Juvenile Holding Centre in March this year. At the time, he was on remand for the attempted murder of former national boxer Gladwin Dorway, which occurred in June last year.
