Bank DIH truck driver on causing death charge after Trafalgar collision

A Banks DIH Limited truck driver was on Monday charged with causing the death of Ravindra Arjune, who recently succumbed following injuries he suffered in a three-vehicle accident along the Trafalgar, West Coast Berbice (WCB) Public Road.

Morguen Forde, 32, appeared before Magistrate Peter Hugh at the Blairmont Magistrate’s Court, where the charge of causing death by dangerous driving was read to him.

He was not required to plead to the indictable charge and was subsequently released on $200,000 bail. He was also ordered to return on November 4th at the Fort Wellington Magistrate’s Court, where the matter will be called again.
