Recently appointed Minister of Culture, Youth and Sport, Charles Ramson Jr., has donated a quantity of sports equipment to residents of the East Bank Demerara community of Agricola, as part of the government’s initiative to develop sport across Guyana.

Speaking to reporters at the presentation, Ramson Jr., during brief remarks, stated, “Coming into government, what the People’s Progressive Party/Civic had said, is that we would be a government for all people; regardless of whether the area had supported the PPP, our position, our action in government is that we are there for all people.”
