Over 50 motorcyclists detained in Harbour Bridge operation

The police yesterday morning conducted an operation at the Demerara Harbour Bridge during which more than fifty motorcyclists were detained after they were found in breach of a number of traffic offences.

Among those who were arrested were riders who failed to present the relevant documents and some of whom were found in breach of a one-way street which is applied on the western lane of the bridge every morning.

The operation was led by Police Commander of Region 3, Senior Superintendent Errol Watts.
