Former policeman Shawn Neblett, who is accused of conspiring to export cocaine to the United States, has been extradited.
Subsequent to extradition proceedings that were concluded in a Georgetown court before Magistrate Faith McGusty, Neblett’s extradition was granted.
During the proceedings, Neblett, 34, was a remand prisoner.
However, the former South Ruimveldt resident was yesterday handed over to federal authorities to be transported to the United States, where he will formally face multiple charges of cocaine trafficking.
