Cops awaiting advice on charge in death of Annandale youth

Kellon Crawford

The driver involved in the accident that claimed the life of Annandale youth Kellon Crawford has been told to report to the Vigilance Police Station daily until the police are further advised by the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) on possible charges against him.

The driver was arrested and released on station bail following the incident, according to the sister of the deceased, Anita, who said her family learnt from the police that the driver has to visit the police station on a daily basis.

Just moments before his demise, Crawford stopped at another accident where a fourteen-year-old was seriously injured in a hit and run. He was riding his bicycle along the road when he was allegedly struck down by a blue Spacio.
