Repairs on the collapsed Tiger Creek Bridge in Region Eight have been delayed.
This disclosure was made by the Ministry of Public Works’ Public Relations Officer Krest Cummings, who told Stabroek News that the contractor, CK Construction and Transportation Services has all the necessary equipment and personnel and the temporary bypass is already in place.
She said that while the contractor has set out the works, the delivery of logs to the site has been delayed as a result of heavy rainfall. However, she said, the contractor is currently exploring options to fast track the procurement of logs
