Forty-two businesses have been warned about COVID breaches – task force

Forty-two businesses have been warned about breaches of COVID-19 protocols according to the  Ministry of Health and the National COVID-19 Task Force Secretariat (NCFTS).

In a statement yesterday, the two entities were responding to condemnation on Sunday from the Private Sector Commission (PSC) over a final warning to the Palm Court Restaurant and Bar. The PSC accused the Task Force of singling out Palm Court and said it was considering whether to withdraw from participation in the task force.

The statement from the Ministry of Health and the COVID-19 Task Force Secretariat  said they had taken note of certain statements made by PSC Chair Nicholas Boyer in relation to the breach of COVID-19 Guidelines by Palm Court Restaurant and Bar.
