The pedestrian who was fatally hit by a truck on the Agricola Public Road as he attempted to cross the four-lane thoroughfare on Monday has been identified as Kevin Monderson.
Monderson, a 37-year-old carpenter of Lot 17 Co-op Play Field, Tucville, Georgetown, was struck down while on his way to check the price of roofing sheets.
Police investigations have revealed that the truck was proceeding north along the western lane of the eastern carriageway of the Agricola Public Road. At that time that lane was temporarily activated as a third lane for north-bound traffic.
