Tuschen’s main roads to undergo rehab

The four main access roads in Tuschen are due to be rehabilitated as part of $185 million in road works slated to begin soon in the West Coast Demerara community, whose thousands of residents are expected to benefit.

Minister within the Ministry of Public Works Deodat Indar yesterday visited the area, where grubbing and grading and shaping are also expected to be done in the streets leading up to the village’s Health Centre.

According to the Ministry of Public Works, Indar pointed out that several contractors will be undertaking the works, as the goal is to complete the works in a timely manner.
