Yassin laments poor response by affiliates to GOA’s handout

Thermometers, sanitizers and cheques worth $50,000 each were distributed by the Guyana Olympic Association (GOA) to some of its affiliates at its Liliendaal headquarters yesterday.

According to president of the GOA, K Juman Yassin, the handouts should aid with the safe recommencement of sports.

Said Juman-Yassin “The GOA is cognizant of the fact that sports has returned and we wanted to be able to help it to commence in a safe manner.”
