Man who took his own life over teen had constantly harassed females in area – victim

The Riverview, Ruimveldt woman who was attacked by Jeffrey Narine before he stabbed himself and died on Monday, said that the man “terrorized” females in the area.

The 36-year-old housewife spoke to this newspaper on Wednesday just hours after returning home from the Georgetown Public Hospital. She said that Narine would terrorize her and many others in the Riverview area. The woman said that Narine had a habit of going into the area and “terrorizing” persons when he drank. She also said that he would harass females by use of unwanted and explicit sexual overtures which she considered to be disrespectful. She further disclosed that both she and her teenage daughter were targets of his offensive and derogatory comments.
