In an effort to reduce the morning rush hour traffic congestion on the Demerara Harbour Bridge, as well as ease the build-up of traffic on the East and West banks of Demerara, a decision has been taken to restrict the west-bound traffic on the bridge from 6.15 am to 7 am
In a notice published on its Facebook page yesterday morning, the DHBC announced that double lane traffic proceeding east on the Demerara Harbour Bridge will begin from 6.15am until 7am.
Prior to this, west-bound bridge traffic was closed from 7am to 8am.
